Anti-Corruption Training for Session- One
” IGT did a training for anti-corruption as part of our ongoing CSR program. The trainings were done during November on the 15,17,18,28 and 29.
It was a one day training for around 30 participants for each day.
Altogether (150) staff, both locals and expats attended the trainings.
Due to the heavy workload of the employees, training session was limited to one day.
During these one day sessions, a lot of information was disbursed to the participants.
Training was from two sources.
1. Capacity Building Initiative (CBI) -a leading local NGO specializing in trainings
2. Professor U Yupa – Senior Consultant / Union of Myanmar Economic Ltd and retired Pro-Rector from Institute of Economics / Yangon.
First three days training s were done by CBI in Burmese with English translation (provided by CBI) and the remaining two days training s were done by Professor U Yupa in English.
It was a valuable capacity building exercise for IGT staff.”
