In support to the environment, IGT have directed all its staff to implement recycling programme in its office premises beginning 3rd quarter of this year. The corporate objective are as follows;
- Reuse used paper to all office printer using the blank side of the document
- Reuse used paper for photo copies, notebooks, for attachment to invoices, remittance claims, etc. instead of using a new paper
By this IGT can;
- Reduces tree cutting and eventually conserves natural resources
- Reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills and combustion facilities by reusing the recycled paper in the office premises
- Reduces pollution by preventing the need to collect new raw materials for paper manufacturing
- Reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that contribute to Global Climate Change
- Recycling is the best way to have positive impact in the world we live in
- Recycling is an excellent approach of saving energy and conserving our ENVIRONMENT
- Helps sustain the ENVIRONMENT for our future GENERATIONS to come
